My Happiness

Meditation Begins During Our Hibernation In Our Mother’s WombBy Brother Karan Shankar

Hi I’m Karan Shankar. A singer song writer / campaigner for a noble cause and a  life time member of My Culture Kindergarten in support of Pre Elementary Education for the underprivileged children. I’m honoured to be requested to pen down few words for My Atma Centre Malaysia pertaining to my  experience in meditation. And my my best wishes for the continuous effort in bringing good to life in line with the theme My Atma My Happiness.  Meditation begins during our hybernation in our mother’s womb. That couple of months breathing in water is the mother of all meditation.  And  after birth without realising we continue meditating and I wish to explain it in two events.  The first event during the opening of our eyes for the first time after birth and the closing of our eyes towards end of life. Which is life and death it self. But for the meditators we understand there is no beginning and end.  The second event is the daily opening and closing of our eyes. During our wake up in the morning and sleep at night.  By summing both the first and second event we may derive that  life itself in the larger perspective is  meditation after all. My focus is not to touch on the  experience of being in meditation but to express some bit of what should naturally come by there after. What are the possible endervours as a result of constant meditation. One of it is certainly extending “Unconditional Love” and reaching out for “Humanity”. And both Unconditional Love and Humanity is attained through self realization. One thing for sure as a result of meditation is to feel a larger than life experience within you . The loving universe within you. The ever forgiving and ever lasting relationship with the one power which is best described as God / Creator / Paramatma. Once we are connected with that  powerful source.  We will definitely feel the empowerment of love. No doubt about it.  And how do we continue receiving this empowerment ? Yes we continue receiving it by meditating. By giving and sharing unconditional love to mother earth and all living beings.  Through atma or soul fasting  which involves meal regulation and abstain from self pleasure helps better the body and mind.   Fasting should also teach us the value of having food on the table as compared to those who suffer in poverty and struggle for a meal. The level of appreciation should be heighten through out this period of fasting which leads to self realization.  Meditation = to Self Realization hence those who meditates becomes better and realized of their circumstances,  family , work and gain strength in their acceptance to life. Meditation is applicable to all people bringing joy and bliss.  Immaterial whether a person is religious, spiritual , agnostic or atheistic. Close your eyes and begin today to unveil the Magnificently You , the sleeping giant. Magnificently You And Only You can Bring The Change  Around You. Let’s meditate!
