Addiction is a form of Maya (Maya in its literal meaning in English described as illusionary) MAYA Breaking Addiction is not only a song of profound message but an awareness campaign to describe the various aspect of blinded perception in life. Running away from reality is not a solution. Misled by false ideas and expression of life which is not true has led Arun ( character in the music video) to drug addiction. Drug addiction may give some of us temporary illusionary escapade which is harmful damaging and life threatening. Addiction does not only include drugs but alcohol abuse and all other addiction which is deemed harmful to the mind and body. The Indian and Tamil context had precisely described life as evolutionary through Sivapuranam. A man who perceives the actual philosophical and underlying idea behind Sivapuranam would understand to be contended with simpler things of life , as life is after all evolutionary. Allow life to grow in the cause of time . Don’t over burden oneselves with unrealistic goals. The inability to accept our beautiful life as it is, giving it up and seeking shortcuts is one way another Maya. Let’s Break Addiction. Let’s Break Maya.
