‘Kulanthaiyum Deivamum Ondru’ is a popular saying in Tamil that literally says that, “ Children are like God. “ This saying is very true in my life because I could sense the godly feelings vibrated in children, while engaging with them at our Charity – based Kindergarten schools managed by MyCULTURE . “MyCULTURE” ( Negeri Sembilan Welfare, Arts Culture and Moral Uplifting Society) is an NGO registered with the government of Malaysia. One of our core activities of the NGO is providing pre-school education to the under- privileged children in the rural and semi-rural reas. Currently we have three pre-schools with lower income Indian families. Most of these families are unable to send their kids to commercial kindergartens due to the high cost. Therefore, MyCULTURE decided to help the children between the age 4 – 6 years from these families with early childhood education. We started this project in 2016 and currently we have 75 students studying at our 3 centers, namely Taman Kelab Tuanku in Mambau, Seremban 2 Garden Homes and Taman Sri Mawar in Senawang. The joy and happiness that makes us feel magnificent is also shared by our Patron, Mr. Francis Xavier, Free breakfast food programme by Brother Nageswaran of Athma Society, Brother Karan Shankar of Kural Voice, Brother Rada Ji of Divine Life Society and a host of other well- wishers who are supporting us in kind or cash to meet our cost in managing all our 3 schools. The greatest feelings of joy and satisfaction is always felt in seeing at least 30 – 40 students graduating from our pre-schools at the end of each year. As the Chairman of MyCULTURE and the Kindergartens, I wish to extend my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to those mentioned above, teachers and to all our dedicated members of MyCULTURE.
